We’re delighted to welcome ProCommunity CIC’s School Uniform Stitch & Fix Project to Market Gates Shopping Centre this summer, working alongside our School Uniform Pop-Up Shop to help local families get ready for the new school year.
Every Monday from 27th July to 24th August, 10:00am–12:00pm, skilled volunteer sewers from Procommunity CIC will be offering free school uniform repairs and alterations.
Whether you’ve picked up a pre-loved uniform from our Pop-Up Shop that needs a small adjustment, or you’re bringing along your own uniform for repair, the team will be on hand to help. They can replace buttons, repair hems and seams, adjust waistbands, and carry out minor alterations to trousers, skirts, blazers, PE kits, and clip-on ties.
Together, the Pop-Up Shop and Stitch & Fix Project are helping families save money, reduce textile waste, and make school uniforms last longer.
There’s no need to book—simply drop in with your uniform and the volunteers will do their best to help.
